Had a lovely breakfast here at 8am. The staff were lively and welcoming. They seemed to know their regulars and it felt connected to the community. Staff were happy to answer questions too. Place was clean, coffee was great and the food was excellent. They had vegetarian options on the menu too.

A lot of cafes are trying so hard to provide good quality food but fail. This Cafe actually offers great food with generous portion sizes. I was happy with what I ordered today which was smashed avo and the Greek breakfast. The frappes were also really good. I'd highly recommend this place

Awesome menu with pictures and descriptions, staff attentive and food quickly served. The decor is nice but a bit unimaginative. Our meals were awesome and great value for money. A lot of the menu has a Greek twist and it was very authentic.

We wanted something for lunch and were happy they were open Easter Saturday. Also have not eaten at a Greek Cafe and was pleasantly surprised. Love a good eggs Benedict and they had the pulled lamb one which I ordered. That was beautiful and not sure if other cafes do the same. I thought that was great besides the traditional options salmon etc. We also ordered another meal I forgot what it was but wasn't as satisfied. Customer service great

My mum and I had breakfast here on the 5th of March. Not only was the food amazingly delicious, the customer service was outstanding! We were seated by the owner, served by the waitress and overall just had an amazing time. The customer service was the best i’ve ever experienced, not only were they friendly but they were attentive to your needs and what you were after. We got the big plate breakfast, açai bowl and the pancakes. The homemade pancakes were a hit, not only were they light and fluffy but they were so filling and delicious, the açai bowl had seasonal fruit and an option to add PB or Nutella on top and the Big plate breakfast also comes in a Greek styled breakfast if you’re after trying something new. 10/10 will be back again!

Since our son and his wife moved to the Newcastle area, we visit fairly regularly to see the grandkids. We all love breakfast outings and Newcastle has lots of great places, if sometimes rather pricey. We stumbled across The Village by chance and it has become our "go to" establishment. The service is friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. However, it's the food that brings us back. The Greek brekkie is superb, in fact its the only item I've ordered... after four visits. The corn fritters are my wife's favourite... I've tasted them... they are very yum indeed! The coffee is also outstanding, but best of all, the servings are generous and the prices are very reasonable, by today's standards. Most definitely worth a visit... 5 star!

Although they were really busy they accommodated our party of 3 and our hound with a table outside. Food and drinks were top notch. We had the eggs Benny, Greek big plate and also the corn fritters. Definitely a go to when in newy and we will return to try out other selections on the menu. All staff were very attentive and helpful. Super easy to split bills with there fancy tablet till system!

Hearty and great portioned food. Yummy coffee. Left the cafe feeling light and energised. We will be back!!! (For the 3rd time)
